Detomaso Pantera           Click for full size image Car Description: 1971, Detomaso Pantera, $45,000 Comments: Meticulously restored 1971 De Tomaso Pantera, Blue Printed 357 CI Ford Cleveland engine, Edelbrock torker manifold, Holley 750 CFM carburetor, K&N air filter, Bosch Platinum plugs, MSD 6AL ignition system with rev-limiter, Silicone wires, blaster coil and billet distributor.  "Sound to the Ground" is produced by Ansa Marmitte headers, dual mufflers/tail pipes and custom chrome 4-tip exhaust outlets. ZF 5-speed posi-transaxle and complete Hay's HD "Borg and Beck" style clutch and disc assembly, through new HD half shafts to Michelin 335/35ZR 17's mounted on PI Motor Sport 12" wide mags.  Front is complemented by Michelin 215/45ZR 17's mounted on 8" wide PI Motor Sport mags with jounce and rebound on both front and rear suspensions being controlled by Koni coil-over shocks. All suspension components replaced using new 8.8 hardware. New and larger AC system. Soldered copper tubing and double clamp silicone hoses. 2 new Pro-Form 1650 CFM 14" fans for radiator.
