1963, Jaguar Mark II, 122,000 miles,
Interior: Black, Exterior: Old English White,
$24,900
Comments: Offered for sale is a 1963 Jaguar MKII Saloon. The old english white exterior and black interior leather is a stunning combination that recieves complements everywhere I drive the vehicle. The 3.8 litre 220HP engine is coupled to a more desirable four speed transmission with overdrive. It is a joy to drive with expected power and shows 50Lbs of pressure at 2000 rpm hot. Compression for all cylinders range from 100 to 110. There is no evidence of smoke. The engine was rebuilt at some point in its lifetime. There are no visible signs of rust on the vehicle. A complete Bartlet interior with connolly leather, wilton wool carpet plus headliner has been installed. The wood was refinished and all rubber body seals were installed at the same time. It still appears as though the interior and body seals were just restored. A kenwood radio/cassette player was installed with four speakers sympathetically installed. All the instrumentation and interior lighting works except for the clock. A trunk kit was installed and all the tools are original. Over the past 3 1/2 years I have owned the car a stainless steel exhaust, water pump and associated hoses, coil, clutch slave cylinder, correct period Vredestein tires, battery, front & rear shocks have been replaced. The car is located in Strasburg, Virginia. Any questions regarding the car and price preferably contact me by e-mail address jack_jenkinson@yahoo.com or text or call me at 011-917-534-3133.
