Comments: 1967 Marlboro Maroon Corvette 427/435 coupe, Restoration with out original block AS OF 9-16-07, Casting Number 14015445: 454 4 bolt main block bored .060 over. New cam bearings & freeze plugs. Block has been decked & main bearing alignment checked. Ohio crankshaft forged steel 4.250 crank & h-beam rods 6.385 length. SRP 10.5 forged pistons. Total seal plasma molly rings & federal mogul Clevite h series bearings. Summit racing sfi balancer & a Ram products flywheel. Rotating assembly balanced. All fasteners are new ARP products. Bottom end finished off with moroso windage tray & melling high volume oil pump. Engine totaling 496 cu in. Valvetrain equipment is new Comp Cams products consisting of billet timing set, Hydraulic lifters & cam measuring .520 lift, dual valve springs, 10 degree retainers, 10 degree keepers, & lash caps. Harland Sharp 1.7 roller rockers. Weiand stealth dual plane intake & holley 850 double pump carb. Mallory unilite tach drive distributor & Hyfire VI ignition system. Heads are GM Performance rectangular port with 2.19 intake & 1.88 exhaust valves. Heads have 3 angle valve job, pc valve stem seals, & surfaced .010. Mr Gasket & Felpro gaskets used through out. Lakewood blowproofÊ steel bellhousing & zoom clutch. Powermaster hi torque mini starter. New hi volume water pump. Bowtie tall chrome valve covers & Holley hi volume mechanical fuel pump. Transmission is M21 (original with serial number) & has been rebuilt to factory spec. Rear end is 3.70 posi traction. It also has been rebuilt to factory spec. Cooling system has been upgraded with Be Cool aluminum radiator. Fan shroud is new factory unit. All original parts have been saved & are available.Exhaust, Hedman HTC headers and a custom system by LOUs with flow through mufflers. Body of car has had frame off restoration finished with a two stage paint job as good or better than any I have seen. Most of the interior has been done also but I have not replaced the seats. All chrome has been refinished or replaced with factory available pieces. Headlight units rebuilt, Gauges, instruments and clock all professionally rebuilt. Wiring harnesses are also new.Frame of car has also been refinished. Fuel lines, brakes & hardware have all been replaced and/or refinished to factory spec. Fuel tank & sender are also new units. No parts or hardware left unfinished. Suspension has been completely rebuilt with new parts, bushings, sway bars, springs and shocks etc. Steeroids rack and pinionPower steering installed (all origional parts of the manual steering boxed and saved).Ê
