Comments: Best Reasonalbe Offer, Car was from New Mexico and was delivered to me as a fairly rust free car on August of 2004, With the exception of several sections of the floor, the car was in fact found to be rust free and structurally sound, The wagon came through with its 265 CU V8 with a three speed stick with overdrive, The 265 with the overdrive is a rare combination among the 210 survivors today! The Engine Was Completely Overhauled In Aug. Of 2008. Brakes, (Front and Rear End) All Renewed. In December of 2004, a two-year frame off restoration was begun and the car was mounted on a rotisserie, free of its frame, Frame was taken down to bare metal, primed, and then painted original black, Frame did not need any rust repair. All rubber parts, grommets, washers, shocks, gaskets, and all attached to the frame and /or to the body were replaced, For all purposes, the frame and its components now appeared as new! There is a picture record of much of these activities, available, Frame off-RotisserieÉ.. Car was stripped of all paint, all body imperfections removed, body was blocked and primed with a rust resistant paint, Drivers rear quarter and driverÕs front fender were replaced with new stock due to body damage over the years, not rust! The wagon was repainted original matador red body with cream roof, Color scheme was carried through into the interior paint and eventually the upholstery,The car had been converted to a floor shift at some time, This was removed and the shifting mechanism on the steering column was rebuilt and reinstalled, The horn and the horn ring were also replaced at this time,All bezels and lights on the dash were replaced, All dash wiring was replaced, All internal wiring was replaced along the frame, into the dash and through the firewall, All rubber bushings, grommets, and particulars attached to the firewall were replaced, All door frames and window frames were cleaned, painted and rebuilt mechanically. Several of the glass windows and the windshield were replaced. Doors and windows work as new, All new rims and tires were purchased, The original rim and tire designs were copied, but radial tires were used in place of the bias tire of the fifties, New wheel covers were installed,New shocks were attached, New exhaust system and muffler were installed, Gas tank cleaned/reworked, rebuilt original carburetor, new four-core radiator, and new master cylinder, new brake lines, Front end completely rebuilt. Wheel bearings replaced. So much, much more. Just ask!
